Comment: This is a project I had to work on for my Music Technology course for music educators. It's supposed to utilize basic Garageband functions to put together a piece. It's simple yet fun. I hope you enjoy. (NOTE: This is the first piece I've ever presented with a percussion section, interesting little barieuph factoid.)

Comment: This is the final of SNES Classics Ringtone series. There are two flavors this time, both in MP3 format for now. Frog's theme is one of my favorites, but rather than have it in a traditional fanfare fashion, I opted for a more easygoing style. The flavors are based on how loud you need the ringer to be. Tin is a little more crass in the bass which is easier to hear from a long distance, while Grassy is simply for your own pleasure. Enjoy!

Comment: I started working on this remix shortly after I received some toys for my computer that were both very new and very complicated with which to play--these toys of course being new samples for my beloved GigaStudio. To keep things simple, a remix/arrangement for woodwind quintet seemed appropriate, keeping the size of the ensemble small and the texture easy to manage. This is my first new, public remix since July 2004, and is also among my shortest remixes.

Comment: This wasn't the piano installment I wanted to release for this week, yet the exclusive that I planned to use was something that I left behind at my student home over Christmas. :( Still I think it seems appropriate, given the Dwelling of Duels has started releasing the songs for the Chrono series theme at Magfest recently. We have a piano interpretation of Magus's theme from Chrono Trigger, developed for the competition's free month before it, which resulted in a rather tasty 7th place tie in the end. It was also one of the hardest things to follow up on, given that after analyzing the competition in full detail, the game and source in question are among the most popular choices (which now sounds odd considering I did the only CT mix there!), so I did as much close-tempo work on the arrangement to give it that more dynamic feel that the audience was looking for. I hope you like it, and I promise by the end of the month I'll have that exclusive in my hands once more.

Comment: As you probably can hear, it's a remix from Wind Scene by Yasunori Mitsuda, because Chrono Trigger has got great music, as most people will agree with me. This song is one of my favourites, and I found it sounded good on the key instruments I used for it. I'm calling it.... "Too Cold to Go Outside and Walk Around Scene"(catchy ain't it?) because it's supposed to sound like your watching a cold snowy and windy landscape or something, but that's for the listener to decide. It's mainly in 3/4, to make it sound different from the original, but I made a little switch to 4/4 for variety, and than back.
