I had an audio project at school and decided to produce a re-arrangement of this lovely tune from Chrono Cross... It's not the tightest recording but hey this is the first time I've done something like this. Little slip ups here and there, but overall I'm quite pleased (especially with the little time we had). Consists of two acoustic guitars, one e-bass, and a midi maraca all of which were performed by my dad. Acoustic guitars where recorded in stereo, which isn't very noticeable, and e-bass and midi maraca where a direct feed. Song was recorded, edited and mastered (if you want to call it that) in Pro-Tools M-Powered 6.7. Hope you like it! :-)

A very tired Fermat's Last Theorem greets you on this day when superstitions run abound. I had just come from a 24-hour duty in Emergency Medicine and am dozing off in front of my PC right now. In the previous installment of Sound Test, I rambled about rotating in OB-GYN. I only found out a few days ago that the grouping was different and I ended up with a different bunch of people. OB-GYN will be my last rotation. So yes, I shouldn't have buried my nose in Williams Obstetrics—not yet, at least.

Today, we have an offering from Marcus Velasquez. I reviewed the archives and found out that this is his first submission. Mr. Velasquez, if you are reading this, know that I hope to hear more from you in the future. As for the piece itself, it doesn't stray too much from the original by Mitsuda—not a bad thing, really, for the original Chrono Cross soundtrack itself is something worthy of much admiration. A well-executed live recording is certainly more than welcome. Kudos to Daddy Velasquez as well for his very nice recording. Go ahead and download the mp3 now, dearest RPGamers, and feel the stress just ebb away.

Well, I'm off to bed. Sleep gets priority at the moment. Have a nice weekend, everyone.
