This one is very clean and elegant. I directed the light onto Sephiroth's head in the flames and then added what is perhaps the most famous Sephiroth quote of all onto the wallpaper.

This is a fairly simple and clean wallpaper. I took the picture of Cid looking over a field at his rocket and adjusted the lighting so his line of sight connected with the rocket through the ligted area, then I added his name across the top.

I took a picture of Cid and added track lighting and made a transparent paper texture. Then I illuminated the rocket and Cid's head, and inverted the colors. Then I added his name at the top.

My second submission into the Themes section. Took a picture of Vincent, erased all of the lighting and looked for the most effective use of minor light. This was the best I came up with, an X shape. To have made things balanced, I divided his name on either sides of the light.

Got a picture in my mind of Sephiroth's face with one half fire, one half water. So I made it, and then I warped it into a sphere and it turned out really cool. This is the result, hope you like it.
