Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim
Name: Phillip Reed
Tools Used: Adobe Photoshop 7, the Ys VI Materials Collection
Comments: I originally played through Ys VI back when it was released on the PC, and just recently played through it again with a friend who bought it for the PS2. I decided to dig out my DVD of high-res Ys art and make a wallpaper of Jue (the fire sprite), and after that, another friend ordered me to also make backgrounds featuring the other two sprites. So I did!

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness Wallpaper [800x600] [1024x768] BrandoCort
Thumbnail Couldn't find much in the way of Disgaea desktops, so I decided to remedy the situation with this fine little piece of work. I'm most pleased with how well the text came out.
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker Wallpaper [800x600] [1024x768] BrandoCort
Thumbnail I took some inspiration from the child-like graphical style of the game when I whipped this piece up. I aimed for something a little more original, and I'm pretty sure I pulled it off with flying colors.
Tales of Symphonia Wallpaper [1600x1200] RPGuy96
Thumbnail Features the cast of ToS, along with their names and a battle quote.

Kingdom Hearts Wallpaper [1500x1090] Kingdom Hearts
Thumbnail A while ago some guy wrote in the Q and A section that Kingdom Hearts revolves around a love triangle between three nine year olds. Just to clarify, that is an ascinine comment. To show everyone the angstier side of Kingdom Hearts I made this. I was trying to capture the creepy mood of the secret ending.

Spring break came and went just about as fast as winter break did. Winter break needed to be a week longer, and I think Spring break should be a week longer too.

Yes, my home is a PSP free environment. I don't forsee me getting one anytime soon. I wish I had the money to get one, but oh well. All the submissions this update are all awsome, I hope everybody keeps up the good work and sends in more! Mikel will be doing the next update so be sure to send him lots of stuff!
