Information Station

12.25.00 - It's Good to Be King
"That's not gonna be good for business." "That's not gonna be good for anybody."

School's out! Does that mean that I've been putting my free time to any good use? Sadly, no. Today's update is a good week late, and for that I'm hang my head in shame. However, I do have big things planned for this little corner of RPGamer. Starting next week, Information Station will be no more. Before you start cheering, though, hear me out. The section will still be here, but under a brand new name, with a well-deserved facelift and some sort of new handy archive system.

Because this renovation will affect you, the readers, more than anyone else, I'd like to hear some input from all of you. What would you like to see on the sidebar? What kind of information would you like to see here? Is there anything I can add to or remove from this section to make it work better for you? If you have any comment or suggestion regarding the soon-to-change Information Station, even a suggestion for a new section name, please mail it in to info@rpgamer.com. I'll take every email seriously, and if I happen to use your idea or suggestion, I'll mention you next week.

Last Week's Quote - I had a few correct guesses to last week's quote, but Info Station reader Mike Ward again proved to be the quickest draw in the land. Mike was the first to tell me that "Pop Tarts are frosted" is said by Eric Cartman in the "Weight Gain 4000" episode of South Park. So, for your reading pleasure, here's Mike's 15 Minutes of Fame:

Mike Ward's 15 Minutes of Fame

First of all and most importantly, Jeannie, I love you more than you'll ever know. You truly are the most beautiful, awesomest, coolest girl (and a million other things) I've ever met :) Secondly, I'm pissed off because Lunar II is getting delayed due to this crappy weather. (of course, by the time all of you see this, I'll be a happy camper with my copy of Lunar II :P) Anyway, my first half of 9th grade is over, whoohoo, and Christmas break has arrived. I still need to beat FF9...lol, I keep putting it off. Hmm anyway...Merry Christmas everyone!

- Mike Ward

This Week's Quote - Try to guess (be specific) the quote towards the top of the page (make sure you mail ME and NOT the submissions address). If you're the first one with the correct answer, I'll mention you (and a link to your site, a small rant, or something keen to that extent -- tell me what you want in your email, even if it's nothing!) in next week's update.

The Rules - In the event that a particular quote has more than one source, only the source I personally had in mind when posting the quote will be taken as a correct answer. Also, an individual (or team of individuals, if it comes to that) is only eligible to win the quote contest once a calendar month.
