Source of Madness Spreading to PC, Consoles in May

Thunderful Publishing and Carry Castle announced that side-scrolling action roguelite Source of Madness will fully release on May 11, 2022. The game, which has been on Steam Early Access since 2021, will be available digitally on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, priced at $19.99/€19.99/£16.99.

Source of Madness is set in a Lovecraftian-inspired world, with both locations and unearthly beasts created by a mixture of machine learning and procedural generation. Players control an Acolyte armed with close-combat magic in a world controlled by entities that reshape it every day as they look to uncover the mysteries of the Loam Lands and the Tower of Madness. Players have access to five classes and can upgrade their skills and unlock new abilities by finding equipment and items on their adventure.
