Revisit the Opera

       Author's Note:  I found a copy of the Japanese text of the Aria de Mezzo Carratare, and after reading it, I decided that I did not particularly like the FF3a version of the song.  So here is the translation that I came up with.  I had to add a couple things here and there that are not in the original because of the way that Japanese translates to English, but they are all redundant so as to not change the meaning of the original.

Japanese:

Itoshi no anata wa
Tooi tokoro e?
Iro aseru, towa no ai
Chikakatta bakari ni.

Kanashii no toki ni mo
Tsurai no toki ni mo
Sora ni furu, ano hoshi ni
Anata to omoi.

Kozomu chigiri o
Kawasu no desu ka.
Dou sureba?  Nee anata?
Kotoba o matsu.
