The game takes place in the complex world of Edith, which is seperated into the three dual-sided kingdoms. The Underground World holds two empires founded on technologically-advanced civilizations. The Land World plays host to a number of coexistant races and is less advanced than the Underground World. Its inhabitants ride dragons and use magic to fight in a war that has been going on for ten years, while the Sky World lies split in half between the kingdoms of Heaven, where elves and angels reside, and Hell, where demons reside.
