 FANFICTION
Goddess Helpline December 28, 2005

Well, I'm here again. The sheer awesomeness of DQVIII and the new Ah! My Goddess series have rejuvanated my energy to do this thing, so enjoy it for however long it lasts. This week, we've got a FFXI fic by our esteemed fellow staffer Paws, more of that uber-long Before Crisis fic, a fic for a game that I loathe, and more Penance by Karlinn. Special kudos to Karlinn for joining the order dedicated to all things Ridley. -Slayer of God

Karlinn's internet is down, so no reviews this time. Last week was another slow week for submissions because of the holidays, so be sure to send all your fics to fanfic@rpgamer.com.

It’s hard, sometimes, to be a Turk. People don’t understand us. They see a bunch of elite professionals in suits, with weapons, who do Shinra’s dirty work. We’re people too. But I guess there must be something different about us, knowing about the things we go through. Our lives are different. (Chapter 2)
