Welcome

Happy Valentine's Day!...is what I would be saying if I pulled Sunday updates. D'oh well. Ah guess what! Lorelai just got a job! Yeah, she'll actually get PAID for making webpages for other people now! Hehe. It's a Berkeley employment thing called the Computer Assistance Program, and I'm gonna be making double digits per hour making graphics and websites! Waaaay cool! And it's resume material too. Anyone out there want to hire me? I got the job, so that's a certification I'm qualified, right?... ^_^ Oh, by the way...lots of you freak out when you send fanart to lorelai@rpgamer instead of fanart@rpgamer. Don't fret...they go to the same mailbox.
From The Heart

Lorelai had a revolutionary but very, very risky idea this week. I'm thinking of cleaning out the art-chives. It's just that some of the earlier submitted work there is either unnamed or unqualified. I've found several examples of stuff scanned from magazines, and two pictures that were drawn by Clio Saga. She CREATED Bart Fatima. Her drawings aren't FANART, they're original...so why are/were they submitted? I'm confused.
Anyway, what I wanted to do is cut down on the stuffing in the archives, slowly but surely. I won't be getting rid of named artwork (i.e. if your e-mail is next to it) but if in the next couple weeks I don't get an e-mail from you telling me what you submitted, I guess I'll start to assume that you don't mind if I clean up the archives, for the sake of everyone with slower modems and my archive-making sanity.
Extra Notes

Well...I asked for comments, and garsh darn it, I'm gonna give em to you...someday. I guess the only thing I can do is cut down on the number of art posted each week, but make them the ones chock full of quality. That way I can fit comments in this page. So...I'm sorry, but competition will be fierce. You guys are all great artists. Oh, and I think you guys have caught on that it's "easier" to get art posted in Critique Corner. Ahem, that wasn't the point of it...it was to help you improve your art. So...to be fair to the other artists, Critique Corner art will NOT be placed in the RPGamer archives; they will be up for one week. Deal? ^_^ Oh, and I encourage you guys to apply for Artist of the Week. This competition is not nearly as stiff; C'mon. I not so mean. Me no bite. =)
Feedback

What do you guys say to bi-weekly updates? I was thinking of starting something like that. How about Critique Corner and a few artworks on Wednesday, and most artwork updates on Friday? Would that work for you guys? It would cut down some stuff for me too so we'd all be happy! Note to patient readers: I will start modifying this column on days other than Friday. Be sure to check often for mid-week updates! I will clearly mark them with red dates on the main page. Things I touched up on: the right column. Now you have handy links everywhere! And corrected some typos.
W. Lorelai, completely immersed in fanart (wow!)
