Welcome to fan art dear readers! This week I have finished Baldur's Gate at long last! It was very fun, but now, it's time to move on... to the expansion, of course. I have barely started, though. My progress in Final Fantasy VI has stagnated, but Rondo progresses smoothly. In other news, I am now feeling a lot better, like if I was healthy once again. This week we have a special update here in Fan Art. Seven submissions, from the same artist, game and character. You will without a doubt recognize Tifa from Final Fantasy VII and Mooncalfe's style, who submitted one of the two Dagger/Garnet pictures last week. I'm not going to go through all of the different pieces in detail, but one thing I like here is that the character changes from one drawing to another. The interpretations are interesting, and some portray Tifa quite differently from the way we usually see her, like she had gained some weight. This can be seen in the piece titled Stinkin Advent Children. Premium Heart features Tifa as she would probably look like after a heated battle. What I like with Mooncalfe's drawings is how the characters are interpreted. The poses are interesting and dynamic, while the textures and colors give them life. Just have a look at the red tint on Tifa's skin and bruises in Premium Heart, or check the pose and angle in Four Tifas 4. Of course there is a lot of skin and some angles show more than most of what has been submitted in the column so far, but I guess it had to be expected with such a character being drawn. This week in the Final Fantasy VI Comic, Locke finally rescues Terra and she gives him a kiss. Well, not really, but there is some good humor thrown in there. Thank you all for reading and watching, and I hope to have some comments this week, as last week's update really did end up being a failure, even though we still had some nice art! See you on the forums!
