Comrades!

With Halloween behind us, we now get to focus on the hectic holiday season coming up really soon. Rest assured, I refuse to make the time arrive faster than it should. How was all of your Halloweens? Full on candy already? Well I wish I could say the same, but I worked until 7:30 and I live 2 minutes outside of the village to really care! Regardless, I was one hot delivery devil. On to more treats!

Many works are presented today, but I'm 1/2 way through my backlog! Jackson Ferrell and Joe Harris team up to deliver an example of a dating sim with a Figaro twist. Speaking of obsessions, what is it with fangirls going insane over Sephiroth? I mean, he's just a videogame character and I'm glad that Noreen Rana seems to agree with me.... or at least I hope. Shuffling away from overly-popular characters, Lackshmana brings some of the spotlight to characters you don't see here too often. Finishing up this week's fan art is Cheesy Bumpkin's contribution of the greatest character in any Final Fantasy game, and that is Rosa's Mom. ALL SHOULD BOW BEFORE HER CONCERN OVER HER DAUGHTER WHO HAS A UNFORTUNATE TENDENCY TO GO OFF ON HER OWN TO HELP HER KNI-- THAT'S RIGHT, DARK KNIGHT BOYFRIEND. Worship her or suffer you mortals.

This week also brings back the return of fan wallpaper submissions, which I'm extremely excited about. Elizabeth A. Timmer was kind enough to provide 4 wallpapers this week for those itching for something new to stare at. But that's not all, come back next week to see Elizabeth's and the rest of my backlog's fan art contributions!

With the column coming to an end tonight, I would like to share an idea with the rest of you. If any of you are long-term readers as I've been, you might've remember a former curator named Lorelai about 5-or-so years ago. She used to include a section sometimes dealing with drawing tips and tutorials for artists to take a look at. I've been talking to one of my new loves, Lauren, about such a section but including views about art and drawing in college, the real world, and as a career. Let me guys know what you think about it and hopefully it'll be up by next Friday.
