Tegan and I are about a million times happier living in Rockville than we were in Catonsville. The people around here are nicer, there's more to do, and it only takes me seven minutes to drive to work instead of 90! So what have I been doing with the extra 14 hours or so each week? Playing RPGs? Watching anime? No no, not even close. I have been spending that time... at work! As if the cosmos were conspiring against me, things at my day job went absolutely haywire this week, and I'm one of the guys who gets called when the wires get full of hay. So my grand scheme of using all that extra time to finally, say, beat a certain game about a certain tale of a certain symphonia was foiled. At least there's still time for fan art!

• Dude, Where's My OmniArt? I'm sure a few of our OmniArtists are in panic mode scrambling to get their entries in the semi-final round completed by the November 7th deadline. Maybe this will make them feel a little better: as of 8pm Pacific on Friday, we've received a grand total of zero semi-final entries! So I guess everyone's in the same boat, and they're driving that boat straight at me at one million miles an hour. As always, non-finalists are encouraged to try out the challenge for fun and send in their results.

Work just called me to look at another problem. I told them, "Sorry, it'll have to wait. I've got fan art to update." Their response? "What the heck is fan art?" I told them to go to my office and look at the walls. "So fan art is hot cartoon girls?" Why yes, yes it is.
