Greetings from slightly west of where I was last week! My wife and I are finishing up moving into our new place, and of course the first thing I unpacked was my computer so that you all can get your weekly dose of fan art. (Aren't I just the nicest person in the world?) Even considering all of the packing and moving, I have to say that the hardest part about moving is getting used to different local news teams. How am I supposed to trust weather from a man named Topper Shutt? I mean, the guy's name is just screaming for a good dirty joke.
- Backlog. There's not much news this week. Looking at the "accepted" bucket, we've got a few submissions that came in as much as a couple months ago that need to go up. So don't worry just yet if you submitted a while ago and your piece hasn't been showcased.
- Change Requests. A few people have written in asking about changing details in their gallery, adding comments or media types to older submissions, etc. We're working on a system to let you submit those requests in a more efficient manner, so take a look at your gallery and make a note for later of anything you'd like to add or change.
- OmniArt Semi-Finals On Now! I'm sure our 12 OmniArt 2005 semi-finalists are hard at work on their deleted scenes and/or alternate endings, and I'm sure they've marked their calendars with the November 7th deadline. Of course, non-finalists are more than welcome to try out the challenge for fun and send in their results.
Everyone have a happy and safe Halloween. If you're dressing up as a character from an RPG, don't forget to snap a few pictures and send them in! Stop by our new place and we'll give you a treat.
Or maybe a trick. Or some trout.

Nick Ferris needs to make a trip to the store ... for more CANDY!!!
