This Week. Lots of exciting news this week, but let's start with the lovely bunch of fan art we have lined up for you. First up is an assortment of Final Fantasies starting with Dead Fishie's Fran from that one game that might come out someday possibly. Next are a couple of Final Fantasy X-2 pieces, one gorgeous one of Paine by Matt Herms and OMG PAINE BONUS!!! by Yaoi Huntress Earth. Suu keeps the Terra fanboys happy for another week with a beautiful image of that green-haired girly we all love, and a lovely Rinoa comes to us courtesy of White Aeris. Last for the FFs this week, but most definitely not least, is a stunning Advent Children Cloud by meiwren; a poster-sized print of this piece sold at Otakon recently for a whopping $800! Wow! And we still have more art this week! The Clouds keep rolling in, and michael sends in his take of Kingdom Hearts Cloud. While the Viera series may be done, HokutenKnight is just getting started and sends in an absolutely amazing Alice from Shadow Hearts: Covenant with sexy AND spoiler warnings! Fabrune submits a handsome McDohl from Suikoden, and Kenton Alkemi closes things out this update with a priceless Fire Emblem comic strip that ponders something I'm sure many fans of the game have been puzzled by.
Attention, Fanimators! RPGamer's Fan Art section proudly announces that it now accepts RPG fanimation submissions! If you have a GIF or Flash animation (interactive Flash is great, too!), you can send it in and see it here. Check out the brand new Fanimation Submission Guidelines to learn how to send in your RPG fanimation pieces.
Attention Costumers and Cosplayers! RPGamer's Fan Art section proudly announces that it is the new home of RPG costumes! If you have created an RPG costume, you can send us a photograph and we'll post it here for all to see. It's a great way to show off your work, and if you're open to commissions, it'll also help put you in contact with potential customers. Check out the brand new Costume Submission Guidelines to find out how you can send in your RPG costume photographs.
Fan Art Submission Guidelines Revamped. While putting together the submission guidelines for fanimation and costumes, I went ahead and updated the guidelines for fan art. There's nothing really new or different from the previous guidelines you've all been following, but there were a few things that needed a bit of refreshing. You can view the revised guidelines on the Fan Art Submission Guidelines page. I'll also be revising the Fan Art FAQ soon, too.
The new design will be completed soon to accomodate the new additions to Fan Art. You can still send in your other RPG-themed creations (wallpaper, icons, etc.) to our Themes section. Questions, comments, and suggestions about the new additions are always welcome!
