Russobit-M's Xenus was a surprise show for us this year, as we were not expecting it.
The game is a combination of first person shooter and RPG -- Deus Ex fans, watch out! The
game takes place on in a sort of militia environment, and the focus of the game is on politics.
In place of character classes, you have various political factions you can belong to. Think
of a game taking place in a divided third world country with power hungry despots vying for
control, and you have an idea of the game.
Russobit has told us that the game covers over 600 square kilometers, with every single
townspereson having their own set paths in life to follow. Many of the townspeople will
interact with you, such as going to the bar if they've had a bad day, and putting back
some shots of tequila. Provided the game's control is polished up by release, Xenus should
be an entertaining romp.
