Mutable Realms made its public debut at E3 as a competitor in the upcoming MMORPG battle.
Their game, Wish, has several unique aspects to it that promise to give it an edge on the market.
Of most important note, the game is said to support 10,000-50,000 on a single server. This is
possible through the company's touted Ice engine. This should provide the community with a vast
array of interaction in a huge world, big enough to support such a huge population of MMORPGamers.
Graphically, the game needs a lot of work. Shadows are currently absent from the game, and
textures still look rather primitive in many areas. One part that is shaping up pretty well
are the trees, which are fully equipped with flowing, realistic leaves. This aspect was touted
heavily by the developers.
The gameplay is also looking promising, but since the team didn't have a decent demo of the battle
engine ready, I really can't say much for that part of the game. The game will likely be released
in North America for the PC later this year.
