In one word, my first look at Shining Lore was interesting. The graphics are something along the lines of a less recent game, but work quite well for what they are attempting to do. The user interface was pretty intuitive, and I learned to fight, cast spells, and move within a couple minutes.

I followed someone more experienced into a higher level combat area. The camera control was not automatic and the way it was set up was somewhat difficult to manipulate, but this nevertheless did not seem to interfere with combat. Overall I liked the game, and was mildly impressed.
