Final Fantasy Adventure reborn. Not entirely true after playing the Game Boy Advance remake of the game but Sword of Mana looks gorgeous and has a plot. Which makes it infinitely better than its distant sequel.
The game plays extremely fluidly, although the attack animations in the game are somewhat delayed. The menu system is easy to use, the music is fantastically arranged, especially considering the platform, and the battle system appears to be almost identical to those found in Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu III. The graphical style follows in the vein of Legend of Mana but the fluid motion of the sprites and the backgrounds more than makes up for my penchant against the cartoony style.
Thinking of Sword of Mana as the director's cut of Final Fantasy Adventure is a good way to envision what exactly the game is. Fans of Secret of Mana unite! The series is reborn!
