What do you get when you take "classic" American western influences, throw in a little H.R. Giger, and then top it off with a little Japanese influence?
You get Priest.
Originally, Priest began as a popular apocalyptic anime series that never found it's way state-side.
The story has been done before, but the subject matter is always interesting, and I'm fairly certain it has never been set in a western atmosphere.
In short, a the nasty archangel Temozarela has been cast out of heaven.
Being quite angry, he seeks to destroy all of humanity in retaliation.
This catches the attention of Ivan Isaacs, a disillusioned rebel priest who becomes determined to stop Temozarela.
The game appears to be very immersive, and the horror aspect will no doubt delight many.
You can choose to be a member of two factions - either with Temozarela, or with Ivan Isaacs.
JC Entertainment promised us that the game will have a much more FPS-like action element to it, as opposed to most MMORPGs at the moment.
Bring on the west!
