Capcom's booth, aside from hosting some of the sweetest swag I've encountered thus far, is the home-away-from-home of Mega Man Battle Network 3. And with a line consisting of absolutely nobody I got a few minutes to check it out.
Truth be told, the game is virtually identical to both the earlier titles. Mega Man is much more customizable and the two versions of the game do have very different bosses and collectible chips. Whether or not it's really worth getting both versions depends on if you have 'collect it all' syndrome after playing Pokémon for the last 5 years. The battle system, the cast of characters, graphical style, and musical themes are all almost completely rehashed from the earlier titles, so it's a safe bet Capcom is using this title simply to milk the engine.
Anyone who can't get enough of Mega Man, the Game Boy Advance, and action RPGs might want to pick up the title when it comes out, but if that doesn't sound like your thing, steer clear.
