A new year and a new network; it's not a trend, but word of mouth is always a big deal. What better way to gain exposure than through a larger network. We joined together with Advanced Media Network because we had similar goals and hoped for unique opportunities that we couldn't have on our own.
The site was still using the longest standing single design to date. It's highly unlikely that the site will use the same design again for three years, but one can never tell the future. There were never complaints of stagnation, so go with what works.
Penny Arcade has been running Child's Play for a long time. RPGamer heard about it and joined the cause in 2004. Even before we had spare funds to donate to the cause, we wanted to help. We don't know how much of an impact we made, but every little bit helps.
Surprisingly, the number of RPGs released in 2004 was less than 2003. Even so, there were still a significant number of good titles. Notable games were: Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Paper Mario: The Thousand year Door, and World of Warcraft. Who knew how many millions were going to enjoy WoW?
