Things continued to look bleak for RPGamer. With no real revenue coming in, hosting continued to be a problem. Still, the staff worked diligently as ever. One couldn't really tell you what kept the site going, but everyone knew it had to get better, eventually.

On the bright side, RPGamer finally had a design they were comfortable with. There were still minor tweaks to make, to be sure. The main one was where to put main features so they would be noticed. The left side was chosen under the navigation and the feature section was born. Too much? You try making site updates exciting.

The number of releases continued for 2002 to grow. We said farewell to the PlayStation at long last and hello to Microsoft's Xbox. Notable releases include Kingdom Hearts, Wild Arms 3, Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, and Neverwinter Nights. It was a strong year for the PC RPGamer.
