Rebuttal to 'Frustration Factor!'

In Mistress Nightshadow's 'Frustration Factor' she pointed out many important facts. That in today's world, the media and special elite groups blame violence coming from young children on video games. As was seen especially during the aftermath of the Columbine Tragedy, where we were fed not only (In my opinion) worthless gun-control laws worth crap, but also finger-pointing towards video games such as Doom, Half-Life, and Quake as the source of this violence, instead of the twisted mind's of the children themselves, and their obsession with Pokemon.

Forgive me for the last part of that statement, for that's the part that I wish to debunk. Mistress Nightshadow, while preaching about how groups try to blame violence on video-games, is herself (Although while perhaps sarcasticly, but in anycase, not done in an obvious or tasteful matter) blaming the problem's of today's youth on Pokemon.

Throughout her entire article, she raves about not only how the media wrongly accuses video games of inspiring violence, but also how this violence erupts from the game of Pokemon.

Yes Mistress Nightshadow, video games are accused wrongly. But also so is Pokemon (which is also *gasp* a video game) If you don't know what I mean, your a blind woman. Check out www.crossroad.to if you need any proof from me that this is so. Yes, Pokemon like other video games is accused of causing violence. Not only from the nice people at crossroad.to, but also by the bigoted Mistress Nightshadow.

"But what? Mistress Nightshadow is an open-minded free thinker! She's against the evils that the media is doing!" Mostly, but then why, at every oppertunity in her editorial, must she allusion to Pokemon as causing this violence? It's just the same as the media accusing HER games of causing it all.

But the question we all must ask is this. What could Pokemon could have done to this young lady that would inspire her to practically condemn Pokemon as the source of all that is evil? The answer isn't to find in Pokemon however, we can find the answer in stupidity. As a player of the Pokemon TCG, I have to put up with it nearly every day. Stupidity ranging from 'Pokemon is evil, satanic, demonic, and will cause you to sell your soul to Satan!' to 'Pokemon is just plain stupid, why do you waste your time on it?'

Mistress Nightshadow, while apparently championing for video-games, has become just what she hates, an ignorant, stupid, bigot.
