To the Nice people who visit Editorials

Editor's note: This was SO close to making it last week, but alas, it arrived 3 hours after the update was completed. Just a note.

STOP! Right now...Yes, I know he said FFVI sucks, yes I know he is some sort of evil hell spawn....but that's no reason to flood the nice host's mailbox with flames and such. Calm down, yes, put the heavy blunt objects down, and take a brief moment to realize something. Breath, and realize that even if Mr. Ralston didn't like the game, it doesn't mean that you need to kill him. So what if he doesn't understand what we mean by the great music, or the impact of the opera scene, or the characters. Remember, he's just a newbie, and a self-proclaimed...what the hell am I saying, he just stated his opinion, why can't you people just GET OVER IT!

It seems like there is an incessant debate with this whole new school/old school debate. Lately, it seems to have tapered off a little bit, and I, for one, have been VERY grateful. I get so sick of people trying to find definitive evidence that a game they chose was greater than another, and I actual found Mr. Ralston's editorial quite refreshing, in the way he just said what he thought, and left it at that. There was nothing about any inferiority, but made it obvious it was his personal taste. That being said, we don't need fifty people doing the same on the flip side. The old/new school debate is old, and it's cliched (hey, you dislike LoD cause its cliched, why should the Editorials section be any different).

In short, no one needs to respond, all of us know how about ninety-nine percent of us feel right now. Unless you have some new angle to add, there is no point to just write in. Please save room for the FFVII ending debate, or maybe something new that might just show up, that way it doesn't to start looking like the same column over and over again. If you can't help yourself, there is an E-mail address for the author...and if you agree, I suggest not saying anything, I can only hold back the pack for so long.

Well I'm done here, hoping this prevents anymore FFVII sucks debates. I'm also kind of hoping this doesn't get me killed as well. Anyone who can help me with a good and unique new pen name, or has some odd desire to discuss something with me can drop me a line at theblessedgodofdeath@gundamwing.org. Lates my friends, enemies, and all the other neutral guys who don't care one way or another.
