I will dedicate my life to making people realize how sublimely awesome the music from the original Unreal is.
Our own Chris Snyder returns to us with a thinkpiece on the time we spend gaming, and specifically how much a given RPG eats up at a stretch. Hey, it's not our fault they stitch together long-ass cutscenes right after gimmicky boss fights and hour-long dungeons with a high encounter rate and no save point in sight. Commit or quit, eh? Autonomous moon-borne regulator Master Chief hits us with a few words about Working Designs, and how badass packaging might not have been enough to save the company from itself. Say what you will about WD; the Ghaleon punching puppet is worth killing a man over, more than the XBox 360 ever will be. Also, Paws joins us with her editorial on the good things games can do for our society, and for the society... in the woooooorld of tomorroooooooooooooooooowww!! Ahh... god, those Futurama cryolab guys had great jobs.
All's quiet on this end, now that college is done. Moved out, utilities down, all my stuff's in my old room, which seems a little smaller for some reason. I have considered the possibility that I am going insane. Or have grown. Both seem at least a little preposterous. The moral of the story is, I don't trust Spain. In other news, I realize I haven't written anything truly interesting, editorials-wise, in a while. I'll try to rectify that in the future. Perhaps... in the woooooorld of tomorroooooooooooooooooowww!! Yeah, I'm gonna get as much use out of that phrase as I can ^^
In conclusion: Jaheira from Baldur's Gate is awesome in at least three verifiable ways, and likely in six other ones. More on that later. For now, Azumanga and Dragonforce, together at last!
