And What's the Deal With the Moon? November 7, 2005

Editor's Comments:Do games have medicinal purposes? Could they be on par with time-honored methods of dulling the pain, like drinking oneself silly or torching a city block? Someone says: yes! Observe!

Editor's Comments:So there ARE other things out there besides videogames! Huh. I thought that was some kinda urban legend. Newcomer Stephanie McArdle discusses her trip through the dreaded gaming slump.

Editor's Comments:See, I was thinking about keeping the four-editorial format, but going for classics would be insulting to all our intelligences. So, I'm just gonna type stuff here. Okay, that got boring fast. I'm going to the 7-11, anybody want something?

Editor's Comments:I'm a dancin' machine! Up on the video screen! Dancin' like you ain't never seen!

Editor's Words

*yawns* Good morning, everybody. We're not going to be doing too much talking because Uncle Karl is going right back to bed, because he polished off a bottle of wine and he needs his 9pm beauty nap so he can get back up at midnight and resume pondering important questions, like "Why is my life so dull?" and "Why do my genes suck so hard?" and "Why don't more people appreciate City of Industry? Harvey Keitel is the man, man."

Two new eds this time around. Drago Musevini's got a charming tale about the healing power of Playstation 2. Well, actually it's meant more about RPGs in general, but Playstation 2 is a funner way to end that sentence. Go ahead, say it; it's funny, it rolls awkwardly off the tongue. Our other ed comes from our newest staff writer, Stephanie McArdle, AKA Angel, and may I say it's a rather interesting thinkpiece on what, exactly, to do when games just lose that "play me" feeling. It's happened to all of us, I'm sure. And I know I've said it a dozen or so times in channel, but welcome aboard, Angel. Good to have you here ^^

Ahh, let's see... am I missing anything? Naw, don't think so. All right, kids, nap time for me. See you all next week, and remember: You can't afford to miss either!
