So election day is here and with it we will hopefully see the end of those constant, insipid political commercials. Oh and George W. Bush as well; which could be a bad thing or a good thing depending on where you stand on Bush. Any who, that stuff isn't important, because today is editorial day at RPGamer and so opinions should be set to gaming as far as I'm concerned. Not much going on for me on this front. I'm still toiling away at FE: Radiant Dawn during the brief interludes in which my girlfriend isn't hogging the Wii for Harvest Moon. I played the Valkyria Chronicles demo , and now officially want this game even more than I did before, and I also bought GTA: Liberty City Stories for my PSP, which I must say is rather impressive for a portable title. People like to bash the PSP, and I'll admit there has been a bit of lull in releases as of late, but when its games are good, they easily top what the DS can do, in my opinion.
As expected we have our weekly dosage of editorials. Fan writer Jared Prewitt starts us off with a lengthy piece about the Tales series and the various motifs that make it up. You know, I've never played a Tales game, and though Jared's article is good, I'm not sure I'm going to any time soon. JuMeSyn returns after that with a good piece reminiscing about all those Sega IPs that have drifted into obscurity. It's sad to actually see how many franchises are probably never going to see the light of day again. Enjoy everyone and remember democracy means voting on election day, and above all else writing in to the RPGamer editorials section. Don't make me get out my Uncle Sam suit.
