And somehow, we still clank along.
I throw my had into the ring once again, bemoaning the sorry state of PC RPGs. Interesting side note, I got distracted while writing it, and went off and played Deus Ex for a couple hours. The game is that good. Also! My esteemed compatriot Tyler Willis has a highly amusing thinkpiece on strategized marketexture - or, in layman's terms, the crazy things we've become accustomed to in RPGs. Took a while to get those footnotes working properly, but the result is worth it. Lastly, Carmine graces us with his presence once more, and the title of his editorial says it all: what, oh what, else can our RPGs do in terms of emotion?
Blah, blah, same ol' story, different day. Short on eds, we need more submissions, can't do this thing alone, despise world, will take revenge shortly. You've heard it before, I won't bother saying it again. But folks, honestly, this place is a lot more lively when it's not just us staffers expressing our opinions. We saw some good outside contributions last week, I'd like to see some more.
Let's see... what else... what else, what else, what else. Wow. Comin' up blank. Oh, right. Uh, we're supposed to have Eds Hour this Wednesday, but... y'know what, nobody freakin' comes to those things anymore. I'll be in chat around the same time we usually have them, 9pm EST, and if y'all wanna stop by and trade ideas, feel free. No rules, no one hour time limit, no nothing. Hell, I'll probably be busy doing what I usually do. Which... is basically nothing. ^^;
*yawns* Welp, time for me to hit that dusty trail. Have a good one, folks, and remember: Billywitchdoctor.com works mostly in chicken.
