Welcome to October, RPGamers, and another edition of the Editorials column!
Fall has fallen upon us, the leaves are changing, and the price of candy in
every store in the US has probably tripled in anticipation of Halloween sales.
As for me, I'm still on the job hunt. I got an offer from another phone company,
but the pay wouldn't be great and the hours were lousy. Plus it was a company I
have a personal dislike for (long story). So I'm still looking. Honestly, all I
need is to win a lottery. It doesn't have to be much, I'd be happy with a
quarter million. Heck, even 50 grand! That's pocket change by standards.
Really, am I asking for too much?
I'm writing this from work, looking forward to going home and taking some
time to watch Law and Order. USA has an SVU marathon on Sunday and Monday, so more than likely my girlfriend has already locked out every channel on the TV
besides that. We both really like the show, but she borders on obsession. Since
she wants to be a cop, it comes as little surprise Olivia Benson is her personal
favorite character. Elliot Stabler is mine, or Lenny Briscoe. I loved Jerry
Orbach's deadpan one-liners. It was such a shame that he died like that.
So in honor of that, this week we have our own little Law and Order spinoff!
It's time for L&O: Editorial Column! JuMeSyn's on the streets, seeking clues to
the mystery that is Shining Force III. MasterChief joins us this week as a
special guest star, cross-examining Nintendo about the Wii. Finally, I'm in the courtroom, judging what went wrong in Magna Carta: Tears of Blood.
Know a game that's a special victim? Maybe have a criminal intent to write?
Or just want to book me for a trial by jury for this week's bad puns? Write to us at Editor@rpgamer.com with your editiorial opinions, we'd love to hear from you!
