They're All the Rage Mike "JuMeSyn" Moehnke

Editorial Excerpt: "I certainly understand the nay-sayers, for FFIV Advance was but 2 1/2 years ago and that game supplied a fine encapsulation of FFIV's essence (though with a few bugs courtesy of Tose). Had I been in charge of Square Enix's remake division, however, there is another Final Fantasy more deserving of a new version than IV. And it is not VI."

Looking Back on the First of the Final Stew Shearer

Editorial Excerpt: "Sitting dust-covered in a box in my basement is a copy of the original Final Fantasy. I convinced my parents to buy it for me at a garage sale when I around five or six. It must have been cheap enough because they agreed to it, and home I went a happy kid holding what I had determined from the cover art would be just like The Legend of Zelda."

From the Editor's Desk

Having returned from Florida, and finding myself not covered in sweat for the first time since last Thursday, I am indeed refreshed but sadly short on editorials. The plane ride helped me polish of Final Fantasy IV DS, but sadly the writing faires chose not visit me this week. Having no new material to submit I decided to polish up my first editorial submission from way back when I was just a fan contributor. You may be wondering, couldn't he have chosen another editorial? Perhaps one written by someone else not himself? Yes, I could have, but the voice in my head yelling "Nahh!" was louder than the one urging me to maybe be a bit more generous to others. I promise next week if we don't have anything new I'll bring out someone else's work. Really. I swear.

On that note, we have a new piece this week from JuMeSyn discussing the merits of remaking Final Fantasy V. It's a good piece, but I am left wondering why JuMeSyn doesn't take apply for an editorialist position considering he already fulfills our monthly quota. Oh well, to each his own! I won't complain as long as the eds keep rolling in! Keep up the good work, man! And to the rest of you... FOR SHAME. Don't even try to tell me there aren't opinions rocking around in those brains. I read the message boards! You people are holding out on me!
