Buyer Beware? Stew Shearer

Editorial Excerpt: "Unlike what seems to be most gamers, I have never really had a bad experience with Gamestop. My local staff are a nice bunch who tend to know their stuff. They spout the party line as required, but are quick to leave it be when it's made clear I'm not interested. Reading people's stories and complaints, it leaves me with the conclusion that a lot of people just whine too much."

The Point of No Return Michael Cunningham

Editorial Excerpt: "I'm not here to take a pro-Sony or pro-Microsoft stance, merely to place the writing on the wall for Sony. You cannot keep bleeding and continue to live, especially when there are vampires all around drinking up your blood and getting stronger. Sony needs a new hope."

From the Editor's Desk

Past the point of no return. No backward... Sorry. You know once you get a song stuck in your head it stays there. This week I've played almost nothing else besides Final Fantasy IV DS, and I am loving it. Initially, I agreed with a lot of people who said the story shouldn't have been altered, but as I get to the spots where all those characters who sacrificed themselves continue to pop up, I'm starting to think some minor alterations would have been good. Beyond that stuff though I cannot recommend it more. If you are a DS owner and an RPG fan, you must buy this game.

This week we have an ed from myself and Macstorm. I have chosen to discuss the woes, or lack thereof, that accompany Gamestop while Mac has opted to talk about Sony's current gaming woes. Both are interesting, if I do say myself, and you'd all do well to read them. Come on, do it. Why are you still reading this? Does my little blurb really interest you that much? Sigh, oh well, I can't make you read them, but I can suggest it. As always, we here at the editorial department ask you to write in with all those opinions of yours.
