Pseudo Random Design - The Next Frontier?
by Gabriel Putnam
"What if the progression of our culture, the translation of our stories, and the creation of epics for our next generation was taken from the hands of designers? They would no longer be needed as stories could take on a life of their own and expanded from a tiny foci into an infinite variety of paths. What then? Would this be good or bad, and what on Earth could evoke such a change?"
Children are the Future!
by Anthony D'Artiglio
"Gabriel Ang wrote an interesting piece concerning the use of younger heroes in RPGs. He wrote a short amount of information to try and explain the thinking of RPG makers. He also seemed to dislike the idea of mainly youngsters leading a group of adventures to confront an ultimate evil. First I will touch on some of the topics he discussed and then I will give my own insight."

Computers vs. Consoles
by Andrew Geczy (WingcommanderIV)
"There has been a war going on since the dawn of electronic gaming. This war has probably been the longest running argument ever to surface. I am of course talking about the ever popular question: what's better, computer games or console games? "
Why Konami Should Re-release Suikoden II
by Cortney Stone
"It seems that every once in a while, a game comes along, and after experiencing low initial sales, it suddenly becomes a "cult hit." This is the case with Suikoden II, the second installment of the Suikoden series. "

Editor's Comments
This week we have a grand total of four submissions. Gabriel Putnam continues to set the standard for writing as he tackles the issue of RPG development. Anthony D'Artiglio offers his rebuttal to Gabriel Ang's editorial on young party members, and Andrew Geczy makes his daring transition from Q & A to Editorials by examining the issue of consoles versus computers. In addition, I've made a contribution of my own with my thoughts on Suikoden II's availability.
Joseph will return next week, so be sure to send him plenty of editorials!

“O Duty! if that name thou love,
Who art a light to guide, a rod
To check the erring, and reprove”
-William Wordsworth
I cannot emphasize it enough: check, check, and recheck your submission for errors. Sometimes the errors I see are simple typing mistakes, like switching letters around in haste, or leaving a letter out altogether. Correcting any errors before you submit your work will save me a lot of time when I update, and it also increases the likelihood that your editorial will be understood and accepted.
