Editorials

Britney Spears vs. Natalie Portman

Well, I was sitting around so proud of myself about the last update, and just kickin' it, thinking, "Man, I'm so cool." When one of the guys asks me, "What are you going to do for your next update?" I was like, "Uh, what?" They fooled me! I have to do this more than once?

Okay, you've just heard the lamest excuse for a late update. But I could only use it this time, so I figured I'd get it in while the getting was good, y'know?

What's new? The look. The format. The absolute irrelevance of the title to the content of the column! I've thrown in two new sections this time, and there'll be a new one next time, however, I will introduce them here now.

The first is "Theme Intro". This editorial is one that I recieve that I figure is controversial enough to get you guys writing about. I post it, you have until the next update (roughly a week) to write an editorial about it. Still no gaurantees on getting posted, (I'm not that nice..) but it does up your chances if you wrote on the theme.

The Second new section is called "Rebuttals". Don't like what someone said? Well, too bad. Got an air-tight counter-arguement? Great! This section will deal with DIRECT rebuttals of editorials that are not ancient. Ancient currently is defined as anything pre-Brad taking over. As we go on, that becomes "No further than 2 updates ago." (meaning, you see it, you can write a rebuttal for the NEXT update, or the update after that.) All these rules are of course, subject to bending, depending on how cool I think your editorial is.

The Third, and not-till-next-time-will-you-see-it new section will of course be the "Theme"d editorials. If applicable, I will post them in groups of "Pro" and "Con" on an issue, and if not, well, I'll just throw them out like a bleeding cow into piranha-infested waters. You guys are the piranhas, by the way.

And on that note... it's time to eat, you blood sucking fish!

How I see it

Well, there you go. A real update this time. Got some good stuff in there, so don't miss out on any of it. I must remind you guys again. Title your editorials! If you don't, I'm going to make up stupid names for them. I swear I will. It's hard to post something that you want to post when it doesn't have an author-given title. Nobody wants to have to be forever immortalized on this page with as stupid a title as I put on their editorial, so please, please do one yourself. Anyhow, keep them coming in, write about the theme, write a rebuttal, or think up something new... whatever you do, write, write, write!

Until next time...
