Editorials

It's a bird, It's a plane!

No, it's an Editorials Update! That's right, superheroes are quite common these days. I don't know why, but everyone can name several of them. Now Editorials Updates, on the other hand, are quite scarce, and should be treasured.

I'm sure you have a few questions, regarding this section. Here are a couple guesses as to what those questions may be:

Who is this guy? Where's Greenhut? How do I tie a trucker's hitch knot? Will I finally be able to submit Editorials again and read other people's opinions until I foam at the mouth and declare a jihad on all people who agree with my mortal enemy?

Answers.. Next month!

No, but seriously, my name is Brad Lohr, I've done a couple new media updates (and will continue doing some of those) in addition to my new post as dispenser of argumentative opinion regarding video games, and bad hair styles. Greenhut is no longer with us, and if I'm not doing as great a job as he did, drop me a line and let me know what's missing. As for the knot, try getting a book, I'm nowhere near the artist capable of drawing the instructions. One can find me on IRC as Ryteria, but know that hassling me about why I didn't post your editorial is the surest way for me to never see it again. I actually will read all of them, though, and maybe asking once why it wasn't posted won't hurt too much. We'll see what the traffic is like in the upcoming few weeks.

As for the Editorial submission.. YES! It is now open again, and you can send them in to brad@rpgamer.com. The basic guidelines are available at the feedback page, and there's some stuff I'd like to add to them, as shown below:

Please leave a message seperated off from the editorial that answers the following questions:
1. If it's alright for me to post your email address to go along with your editorial.
2. If it's alright for me to post your real name along with your editorial.
Note that the real name and email address must be on the submission anyways, but these both refer to your options on making them public.
3. If the above answer is "No", what you would prefer to be known as (nickname, Anonymous, etc).
4. The title of the submission. Without a title, you will be at the mercy of my utterly hopeless titling skills, and I assure you, you can come up with a better title than I can.

Anyhow, now on to the single editorial I have received since my super-secret uprising to editorial power:

How I see it

Well, there isn't much for me to comment on here this time, but instead I'll mention my idea for a new section of sorts. I'm going to start bringing about themes between each update. That way we can have a few people on the same page as it were, and then of course, there will be postings of other editorials which are not part of the theme, but are just "good", and which may introduce the theme for the next update. Look for exciting things happening here. And with that, I leave you, until next time...
