Thanks to everyone that submitted something for this week's column. I can say that I got a bit spoiled with getting two rebuttals earlier in the month, so I want to once again offer a rebuttal challenge. If by Friday, May 25th at 9AM EST, the editor@rpgamer.com inbox contains four rebuttals from four different people, the rebuttal that is judged (judging will be performed by RPGamer staff) to be the most direct with the best counterargument will get a hand-written letter of thanks from me personally along with something else I can round up (likely monetary value not likely to exceed one US dollar). Your name will be posted, and you must be within the US to win. Staff submissions will count toward the overall total, but staff is not eligible to win...unless only staff enters. Yeah, this isn't a serious contest, but maybe it will help our rebuttal submissions.
Today, JuMeSyn joins us with a discussion on a long-running series that has yet make it to North America. Should we start a revolt to get it over here? Dallas shares his joy and concerns about the simultaneous US/Japanese release of RPGs. What could possibly be wrong with that? Tony has Pokémon fever. You'd better keep your distance or else you might catch it too. Finally, I share my feeling on a new fear that I've found within Square Enix. Is it really a big issue or am I just overreacting?
Just as things were getting comfortable, submissions dropped down this week. Of course our staff along with some help from JuMeSyn were able to keep us afloat. I would like to give a cry out to all of those reading this. Not only do we want your input on this week's batch of editorials, but we also would love to see some from you. Write something up, there is no specific minimum word limit, but it should be something with a decent amount of content. Send it on in to editor@rpgamer.com and as always your rebuttals are welcome, so don't forget the rebuttal challenge.
