I Like Giants (Especially Girl Giants!) May 20, 2009
Past Updates: 05.13.09 | 05.06.09 | 04.29.09
Empress Gabriel Ang

Editorial Excerpt:

"She who teaches. She who nurtures. She brings us up when we are down, teaches us right from wrong, puts us back on track when our path goes astray."

Priestess Gabriel Ang

Editorial Excerpt:

"If it is indeed true that behind every great man is an even greater woman, then it is not solely because she merely stands by her man. She is not merely a physical presence that gives him confidence, and not just a physical body that gives him comfort."

The Phantasies of Long Ago Mike Moehnke

Editorial Excerpt:

"Everyone remembers 1988, right? Though Final Fantasy was released in 1987 for Japan, it wouldn't see a localization for three years. The same fate of being much later across the Pacific befell Dragon Warrior, which also came out three years after its Japanese release - 1989. The nascent JRPG genre's only major offering before its two behemoths made it across the ocean was on a console completely crushed by the NES: the Sega Master System."

From the Editor's Desk

My goodness! Anime North is fast approaching! I'm pretty excited too. My friend from Scotland is here, so I'm going to be quick this week. I beat Shadow Hearts: Covenant and it rocked my socks, Yggdra Union is still awesome hard, and Mana Khemia is too darn cute. Also, I made a costume, which I may or may not share photographs of. The only hint I will provide is the following quote: "I'm going to execute you all!"

Any ways, if you can figure out the hint, that's the character I will be dressed as at Anime North. If you want to come out and talk to me about RPGs, I'm a friendly gal, and I'll be working Nominoichi Friday evening. So come out, and talk about RPGs with me if ya like.

Any ways, I have three editorials. But you can read them yourselves, as I'm lazy and don't feel like explaining them. More next week!
