Let Rand defend the selfish roleplayer, or why having a bad case of the gimme-gimmies isn’t always bad
   by TitoPaul
"Much like video games, if you don’t start young, you just don’t get the appeal of Ayn Rand. There is something about The Fountainhead or Atlas Shrugged that alienates the older or uninitiated demographics."

New & Improved Vs. Old & Inferior
   by Frammy2Drawz
"I too have been slightly disheartened by the seemingly large downward spiral that the series has taken. But not all change is bad. Au Contrair, change is good, in moderation. Too much change, and the fans and masses might get upset that the familiar and friendly is gone, only to be replaced with something that might seem unfriendly and intimidating."

The Fear of the Online RPG
   by Jason Dow
"A main element of an RPG is the story line. For example, one of Xenogears' best aspects is the complex and well thought out plot... So along comes the online RPG, and try as I might, I cannot see how the stories will work. The Online RPG will have to be completely different than the traditional RPG."

Well, I hope you all enjoyed Andrew's temporary merger of Editorials and Q&A; it was his birthday, so we let him do as he pleased. :p Anyway, we start off a fresh new week with 2 brand new editorials: A stylish and captivating article by past featured-reader TitoPaul about selfishness in RPGs, as well as a follow up by Frammy2Drawz to May 5th's editorial. Also check out the classic article by Jason Dow on the subject of online RPGs; most of his concerns are still valid points in today's world of online RPGs, aka MMORPGs.

Now that E3 is over, updates should be coming on a more regular basis, and as school continues to draw to a close for many of our readers, we may just see a few more articles submitted in the near future. Until next time, happy reading.
