  Editorials for  March 18, 2001
   Aftershock

Well... if they said every week was easy cruising, life would be awfully boring. Well, several things happened just before the update that weren't too thrilling to either of us, and well, we got a late update. Again, this time a full day. I'm a little more than annoyed at this situation, and I'll definitely try to ensure that next week will be on time.

In any case it's not all completely bad news. My little secret has been more or less finalised. All I have to do is wait until the day of execution, then off I go. That won't change regardless. 7 weeks to go...

Also, it seems that we've gotten a little swat team as of sorts working on the editorials section generally, and they appeared more or less under my nose. You might be seeing some changes eventually, although most of it will be internal work and the little things you probably don't see, but it should streamline editorials somewhat. Also, I've seen the alpha version of the author Archives, so we're getting there, if somewhat slowly.

Well, it seems that the topic has drifted off the vaulted topic of Final Fantasy VI, and onto some very interesting ones. Apart from some VERY interesting speculation concerning the final boss of Final Fantasy IX, part two of Darien's FF9 ed has finally made it over, we have more debate the Nintendo/Squaresoft relationship, some interesting musings over the world maps of games and of compositions. And of course we have more eds to narrow down.

Well, in any case, keep watching, Since we've cleared the halfway mark and we're finally approaching the final round. There'll be one more round of cutting... then the finale. I'll see you around next week for the last round. Till then, keep reading and keep writing!

PS: Yes, there are only 4 contest eds here. The rest are en-route, and should be seen after my Q&A update.

PS: As for what caused the disruption? They're both quite personal, so I do request that you don't ask either of us about it.

See your name in lights...
