The Wii Question Stew Shearer

Editorial Excerpt: "The biggest problem with the Wii is the obsession with how revolutionary its controls are."

New Final Fantasy I Michael Cunningham

Editorial Excerpt: "(Stew's last ed) got me thinking about a possible remake (yes, a full remake) of the original Final Fantasy."

From the Editor's Desk

We will not be brawling in here, so you can take the gloves off. With the staff's obsession with Smash Bros. Brawl, it will be hard to stay away from the game, but I must for a little while longer. I have editorials to bring you, so please read these and send in your own. If not, I might not have a column next week and will just go out, buy Brawl, and post my battle play-by-plays. Who knows, it could be entertaining.

Stew and I have fought long and hard to bring you editorials for this week's column. Stew jumps up and down on the Wii in hopes of making the controls a little less revolutionary. Today, I am likely to start a war as I suggest that the original Final Fantasy gets a huge makeover. That may not sound bad, but just wait and see HOW I want to remake it.

Sadly, my week in gaming has been light. Final Fantasy Tactics had to take a backseat to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates. I've yet to start a new console RPG, but I'll make sure to let you know as soon as I do, because I'm sure that all of you care so much. Sarcasm off, Macstorm out.
