Reviewing Childhood Nostalgia Sam Marchello

Editorial Excerpt:

"I recently learned the difficulties inherent to reviewing a game that is a personal favourite. My recent review for Lunar: Silver Star Harmony was, in fact, quite a struggle for me."

FFIII: Cornerstone of the Series Fowl Sorcerous

Editorial Excerpt:

"I would like preface this by stating that this is not truly a review of the game, but a comparison of aspects of the game Final Fantasy III in relation to the rest of the series."

From the Editor's Desk

I have no excuses as to why there was no column last week. I had run myself ragged, and simply decided that I wasn't up for doing a column I had zero content for. I'm determined to not let that happen again, but you never know what kinds of curve balls life will throw at you. Meh, let's not discuss life. How's about books? I finished Turn Coat by Jim Butcher, and now I'm sad that I've got to wait awhile for the next Dresden Files book. Mmmm... I love books.

I have two editorials for your reading pleasure this week. Fowl Sorcerous returns to discuss why Final Fantasy III is the best Final Fantasy game ever, while I discuss the problems in reviewing a personal favourite RPG, ala Lunar. I love Lunar, I do, but this love posed a tricky question for me while I was writing the review. Maybe these editorials shall interest you? They better!

Man, I'm beat... and I still have lots to do. Well, better hop to it! At least I've Rufus Wainwright to accompany my chores.
