Good readers and writers,
First off, I'd like to apologize for the very late update. I meant to throw up at least an explanation page, but that proved tougher than I had thought. I'd rather not go into detail, but suffice it to say that it's been a rough month. If you're really curious, wander onto our IRC channel and flag me down- The pertinent information can be found in the sidebar. Stop by even if you don't care about my personal life, too. I won't mind, and TRC has promised not to bite in exchange for being able to slander me in his section.
I extend my gratitude to all of you who submitted during this extended interlude. It was a pleasure to see an inbox so brimming. To all of you who've submitted but don't appear this week, you'll either hear from me soon or see your name in lights next week. Speaking of this week, it brings with it a host of new ideas and opinions, from localization troubles to Final Fantasy XI, mini games to criticism of the recent Final Fantasy X (Which I've not yet had a chance to play, although don't let that discourage you from sending in editorials on it), and a rebuttal to news man J. Witham's (No, wait, that's too obvious... Joseph W's...) previous editorial on battle systems. Enjoy, and hopefully I'll see you all again next week.
And finally, congratulations are due to my archival assistant, who has now cleaned up the date archives up through the second quarter of 2000. Thanks, Bart, I appreciate it, and I'm sure our readers do too.
