Well, what can I say this week, we're back in business. We have a selection of eds that would prove to be worth a read this week, both normal and Competition, even though some opinions might prove somewhat controversal, but are interesting regardless. But I can say that the number of competition eds are skyrocketing.
Speaking of which, don't forget to get your submissions for the competition in, cause this is the last update before entries close. The rules are right there for the reading, and trust me, don't hope to slip by us even with the volume of eds that are now pouring in. If you've any questions whatsoever on the competition rules, or have any other questions, e-mail me or come to #edscorner and I'll be there to answer your questions, or if not someone who knows the rules. A quick reminder here though that there isn't any one particular topic you need to write about, so go for anything that you want to talk about that is RPG related.
As for the editorials today, along with the expected discussions on Final Fantasy VII's ending (although they're different takes, so don't fret THAT much) and the submission editorials, we have a couple of looks on the combat side of RPGs, the monsters that make them up and the battles they take place in. Also, you'll find one editorial concerning Legend of Mana's uniqueness, and the opinion not taken on the RPG that is Final Fantasy 6.
Well, according to my hourglass, you got a week to get those entries in. Remember not to neglect checking your work for mistakes and to check the rules, although it might save you time, it might cost you a place.
Good luck, and may the best editorialist win.
PS: A lot of people have been asking about why their contest editorial hasn't been put up. Four at random were placed up week by week, regardless of how many were recieved. I will get back to each and every entrant in the next couple of days if their entry has been received. So sit back and relax, although if you don't recieve an answer from me by mid-week something's wrong.
