Sonic Is Dead

latest "Sonic the Hedgehog" game, Sonic Heroes. I hadn't realized what a
sensitive guy Robotnik/Eggman was. This piece of information led me to
think that despite the previews, maybe there'd be some originality in the
new game's plot and characters. Unfortunately, it soon became clear that
Sonic and friends are dead."

Editor's Comments
Hey, everybody, and welcome to RPGamer's latest editorials column. I'm proud to say that this is the first update in a couple months which had enough submissions that we didn't have to rely on a classic editorial to fill the void. As interesting as our archives are, it's always great to get fresh, new material.
There are three quality editorials for the reading-pleasure of all. Howard Kleinman presents us with his opinion on Square Enix, and where it's headed. Kevin Coletta responds to last week's classic editorial about non-linearity, and finally, Kris Schnee tells us how it is for the Sonic series. Even though it isn't about an RPG, it's about the importance of a good story and memorable characters; subjects which apply to most any RPG.
I'm extremely happy to see the increase of submissions this week. Don't let me down next week!
