Sun Gabriel Ang

Editorial Excerpt:

"It is there. You know it is there. Everyone goes through that time in their lives when all they have to guide them is a single point, a single idea, a single belief. In that enduring darkness, the signs along the road are often scarce and far in between."

Judgment Gabriel Ang

Editorial Excerpt:

"For some, it is the day of reckoning. It is the day that all things come to pass, that singular event that will define, or perhaps redefine, human existence in a single moment."

Browser RPGs: A New Medium for Creativity? Tryscada

Editorial Excerpt:

"I've been a browser of websites like this for a while, but never felt like contributing until recently. I just joined the beta for Immortal Empire, and I can only describe my reaction as refreshed, because it made me want to write something. "

From the Editor's Desk

Happy New Years, everyone! I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday. I know I did, even if it consisted of doing nothing. Okay I did things, mostly reading and playing games. Saw Princess and the Frog again 'cause I'm a dork. All in all, good times were had by all, and many baked goods were consumed. Damn my weakness for ginger bread cookies and snickerdoodles.

Anyway, I'm babbling. But I'm in a good mood, as should you! Here, have some delicious editorials! Unfortunately, they do not come with snickerdoodles. Not that I should be tempting readers with baked goods. Man, I really want a snickerdoodle. The tarot editorials by Gabriel Ang are slowly coming to a close, although I believe there is one more in the works. We also have an editorial from newcomer, Tryscada, who discusses her experience with a browser-based RPG.

That's all from me this week. While your enjoying the last of your baked goods, make sure to read Scott Westerfeld's Leviathan - it's FANTASTIC.
