Final Legend of Dragoon Fantasy 7

Okay, I know what you're thinking." Is this guy nuts, the final legend of Dragoon Fantasy 7? What's that all about?" Well, I just have to say that I think Legend of Dragoon, looks and feels exactly like Final Fantasy 7 (with minor differences, of course).

First of all, the graphics are terribly similar, and my guess is that when Sony first started making Legend Of Dragoon four years ago, they were trying to copy the leading game in the RPG industry, Final Fantasy 7. This makes sense if you just take a good look at the graphics, and even the battle scenes.

Another thing is the way you fight. Okay, the additions component is completely different, but the Dragoon transformations are very similar to the limit breaks of FF7.The characters even develop over the course of the tale almost in the same way as FF7.

Now, I'm not trying to say this is a bad thing, even though I myself am completely and utterly sick of Final Fantasy 7, which I once thought to be the best RPG I had ever played; however, seeing it all again just doesn't feel the same. It upsets me that I got so shamefully sick of such an amazing piece of videogaming history, but then I got Legend of Dragoon.

My point is that for those of you out there who are sick of Final Fantasy 7 (Bow your heads in shame), Legend Of Dragoon is a perfect way to get yourself re-acquainted with the olde beauty. Playing it just gives you this nostalgic feeling of "Oh I remember when I first saw Sephiroth!!", or "Oh Aeris was such a well developed character, why'd she have to die!!!"

I have heard that Legend Of Dragoon got pretty much slated by the critics and my theory why this happened is because it brought back too many memories of cozy winter nights when they snuggled up in bed with their copy of FF7,now long stuck in the back of the games cabinet, dust settling on its worn and torn cover.

Seriously, they should've just named it Final Legend of Dragoon Fantasy 7 and people would have recognised it for what it is earlier. You disagree with me? Say so!!!
