A solid footing. If there's anything humans need in this world, it's that thing which a person is able to rely on whatever happens. This is the place where one bases one beliefs, hopes and emotions on in the best and worst of times. This is like stable ground, a place that is unshakable for the person as it is the basis of one's life. From here one builds one's hearth, a warm place that you can return to if needed. Inside this place is a calming peace that shields you away from the worries of the world, a stronghold for your mind, body and soul. Here you find some sort of comfort from the maddening world that seeks to tear you apart. If there is one thing that you believe constant, reliable and unchanging, it is this special place that you hold dearest to you. It can be a place, a person or even a memory. Whatever its shape or form, it is that which gives stability to your life. Without it, your life could crumble at any given moment.

But will this place constantly be there? You hold on to it with a degree of strength in desperation that you refuse to release it no matter what. Sometimes, the irony of it all is that it is because of you that you may lose it. Perhaps not consciously or intentionally, but it is the decisions and actions in your life itself that led to its loss, its fall.

What happens to the human now, when his Tower falls, burning and crashing when it's once stable foundations have been rocked?

The Tower is the stronghold. When it falls, it once again leaves the Fool in a state of shock that he similarly felt when Death came. Unlike Death, however, it is because of the Fools actions that the Tower has come crashing down. Perhaps not because he intended it to fall, but because he had a hand in it. He is not immune from the blame. The question of course if whether he will face it.

When the Tower falls, you really only have two choices: leave the rubble or pick up the pieces. The Fool cannot choose both, he has to choose one. Will he rebuild the shattered remains of his hearth or will he leave it as is? No person can give you the answers to that; they can only help you. It is during these times that the bonds the Fool has made will once again help him heal.

The spikey haired hero lies in his catatonic state. He fell into the Lifestream but was once again found. His childhood friend chooses to stay by his side, even when the Weapons attacked, plunging them both into the Lifestream below. Rather than a curse, however, the energy personifies the conflicted mind of the hero in his catatonic state. Here his friend is able to peer into his mind, to see into the memories that had so haunted him for years. His life has just come crashing down under the weight of the lies he has built to keep him going. Here she will help him cope, to help him come to terms with his shame and his agony, and to help him accept his shortcomings and failures. At a time when the planet is facing an unprecedented crisis in the form of a Meteor, he is needed now more than ever. To do so, he must pick up the pieces of his shattered soul.

You would consider it yet another run-of-the-mill invasions. The Knightdom of Matilda is in the midst of a split, surrendering to Highland yet still asserting its autonomy. It is here that the liberation forces attack to finally have the central capital of Jowston within striking distance. So the leader takes a small strike force as well as his sister Nanami into the castle, to take down Gorudo and plant their flag at the top. Inside they defeat countless knights to reach the top. Nearing the top they become pinned down and, in order to save the hero, his sister takes it upon herself to deflect the arrows while he fights. She deflects all but one, taking it in the chest. He is able to defeat Gorudo together with the one that was his best friend, and takes his sister Nanami back to the home base. It is here that the doctor says she has died. They may have one the battle, but at a terrible cost to him. In this moment, despite being the guiding star of their army, the weight of the world comes crashing down on him. And yet, even then, he must continue on.

The Fool's Tower comes crashing down, but he really doesn't have the time to waste or to regret. He must make the choice to either rebuild or abandon it completely. He knows that a central aspect of his life has been lost, but nothing he can do will change what is done. He will either mover forward or stand still, and the hero cannot afford to stand still. There is still a road ahead of him. He must again make an important, if dreadful, choice.

He doesn't need to despair however. Given the time to heal and to learn, the Tower can be rebuilt again.
