by Sheepieman "While I was playing FF7, I thought about Sephiroth. This guy killed Aeris, burned down Nibelheim, and nearly destroys the planet. But wait! He's HOT! He must be a good guy!!" This is appears to be what many people thought while playing FF7, with the exception of sadists. I would just like to point out the fact that being attractive does not make you a good guy, to all those Sephiroth/Seifer fans out there. I mean, come on. Seifer and Seph are freakin' BAD. "Sheepieman, you dumbass. Sephy was under Jenova's control!" Why, thank you for the compliment, Sephiroth Fan. "Yeah! And Seifer was Ultimicia's pawn!" These retorts never fail to make me laugh. Seifer was never under anyone's control. Yes, he was used, but it was his decision to go on. And while no one really knows if Seph was hypnotized or not, he's still nuts. Also, in order to change, be hypnotized, or be manipulated in general, you have to WANT to change, be hypnotized, etc., etc. Or at least that's what my psychologist says. Also, the fact that the villans are 'hot' has a different effect on the game. The main characters are often shunned because of the attractive enemies. Cloud is often made fun of in fanfics, even though Seph's even screwier than he is. Squall is mocked because he avoids social interaction, but Seifer can't even talk to his only friends (Fujin and Raijin) without taking them for granted. All right, all right. So S&S aren't the evilist things alive. But at least stop worshipping them because they're good-looking.
