Stop Complaining

by EA

I've just read the latest installment of editorials on your site, and all I can say is that you should all get jobs working for the Big 3 Newsboard. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about (probably most of you) the Big 3 is a wrestling newsboard that also has a section specifically for opinion columns. Thing is, most of these columns express negative views on people's lack of talent and why they should be taken off television. My most common question to these writers over the years has been "If you don't like it, why do you watch it?" And now, I ask a similar question. If you don't enjoy FF8, why do you play it? I've been an avid rpg fan ever since the first Bard's Tale games came out on PC (come on, you remember those don't you?) and I have enjoyed FF8 immensly (sp?). I also liked FF7. Going even further back, I liked FF6, FF4, FF1, and I am currently digging FF5 (and my computer roms for FF2 and FF3, shh, don't tell anybody.) Maybe I like all these games because I just play them for the sake of playing them, not to analyze their every detail. Instead of looking for what the game is missing, I look for what the game offers me personally. One other thing. How many fans of RPGs would you say are on the net regularly? I'd say about 1 percent, if that. It's just like wrestling. Despite the opinions posted, Raw and Nitro are still the two highest rated shows on cable right now. And despite opinions posted, FF8 is probably the highest selling game out there right now. I'm not telling you to stop posting, far from it. I'm just saying that your opinions probably aren't influencing many people in the grand scheme of things. Keep on truckin
