Repetitiveness in RPGs

These days when I read editorials from RPGamer there is a common subject that gets on my nerves. Final Fantasy now granted everyone seems to think these are the greatest RPG's of all time and I would tend to agree for the most part, but the one problem is it seems with praise comes anger and everyone has an opinion on how BAD these games are. Maybe its just me but people talk about how there seems to be repetativeness in video games these days, here's a few Starting male and female character, This is true for almost all RPG's (maybe some start with a monster or something), some sort of love in the game (always with the love), and i just gotta say large breasted women. let me side argue the LBW's for a second, you see you can say they didnt have large breasted women in the 16 bit days, but indeed they did but msotly not in RPG's because RPG's were still in the smaller selling bracket of the market. The Big top gals came mostly from Fighting games which game creators realized this revelation that oh so many people dont want me to say BIG BREASTS SELL.

I'm sorry but its a fact of life. Anyways I'm getting off the subject (with a topic like breasts who wouldn't). Usually there is one main force or as it commonly turns out there is one fake bad guy who gets double crossed and killed by someone here are a couple of expamples. Dolf kill Hel Spites (Vandel Hearts), Kefka kills emperor(FFVI), Shinra doesnt get killed by sephiroth directly but well you think shinra is the bad guy for a long time (FFVII), The Zodiacs kill all the people you thought were bad (FFT).

The funny thing is people get angry at the fact tha most RPG's use the same ideas and heres why..You buy the game they make money they don't care if you like it if you buy it I'm sorry but at the top the CEO don't care about anything but cash. So those of you who didn't liek FFVII do what I did, not buy FFVIII. My main point is You buy the Crap and they will continue to make Crap. Let this be understood if you don't like a game don't whine about it just don't buy the next one.
